As a Senior Account Manager at Raildiary, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionising data capture in the construction industry. With abundant opportunities for professional growth, this position offers an exciting and challenging environment for ambitious individuals.
Your primary responsibility will be to proactively engage with clients, understanding their needs and promptly responding to queries with accuracy. You will develop, nurture, and convert leads, building strong relationships through regular communication and extensive product knowledge. By delivering exceptional service, you will ensure clients achieve a significant return on investment during onboarding and subscription periods.
Confidence in liaising with clients and managing enterprise accounts is vital. Your proactive approach, assertiveness, and empathy will help establish long-term trusted relationships with clients, ranging from SMEs to Tier 1, 2, and infrastructure asset owners. Your sales skills, combined with a comprehensive understanding of technology and the construction industry, will contribute to your success in this role.
Additionally, you will actively seek new business opportunities while effectively collaborating with other business functions. Your enthusiasm, motivation, and drive in a high-growth environment will enable you to thrive and expand your skills.

A confident sales professional with at least 2 years B2B sales experience.
A background in technology/software and/or some knowledge of the construction and engineering industry would be a bonus but not essential.
You should be goal-oriented, extremely well organised and motivated by delivering outstanding service to clients.
You have the confidence to engage with clients directly and manage enterprise accounts, adjusting your style to nurture long term trusted relationships.
You can compose professional emails and have an exceptional telephone manner.
You’ll confidently enjoy interacting with all our Users from railway operatives to commercial directors and CEOs.
You are comfortable with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
You have a positive attitude, you are animated and assertive but have an empathetic attitude and demonstrate humility in your professional interactions.
You want to grow your career in a winning, fast-paced environment with a group of like-minded colleagues.
You have experience in a B2B sales environment.
You will be confident with technology, enjoy using mobile and web applications and have the aptitude to learn more.
You will be confident in liaising with clients in a professional manner.
You will have excellent self-management and organisation to balance time across multiple clients and with a positive and enthusiastic mindset.
It would be preferred if that experience is B2B in SaaS and/or construction/engineering but definitely not essential for the right candidate.

Managing multiple clients, with different needs. You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of specific needs and translating that into a solution-focused approach that incorporates business workflows and Raildiary’s SaaS platform.
Develop, nurture and convert prospective leads.
Build a strong relationship with your Accounts through regular communication and strong product knowledge.
Ensure clients are provided a significant ROI during their onboarding period and throughout their subscription period.
Proactive in managing portfolios of clients from SME up to Tier 1, 2, and rail asset owners.
Be confident in our processes to productively engage with other business functions.
Have a positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach with your accounts.You will have drive and motivation to succeed in a high growth environment with opportunities to expand your skills
Nurture your accounts and actively seek new business opportunities.
Represent Raildiary at networking events and executive meetings to build and strengthen relationships with leading industry stakeholders.

💰 Competitive salary starting at £35,000 per year. OTE £75,000 (uncapped commission)
